“Perch” by Jean Shin, wayfinding + text panels

experiential, fabrication, graphic design, signage, wayfinding

I designed and built the wayfinding signage and text panels for Perch, an installation by artist Jean Shin, working with The Trustees of Reservations at Appleton Farms. Jean’s work is incredibly thoughtful—her use of found/recycled/reclaimed objects really resonates with me. For the wayfinding panels, I used remnant cedar shingles and corrugated steel from a former barn at Appleton, minimizing the need for additional consumption of new materials.
