Trustees Boston office

experiential, graphic design, signage

As The Trustees consolidated offices and moved to a more centralized model for certain functions, it became critical to have a vibrant, welcoming space that reflected their 120+ properties across Massachusetts. The aesthetic was intended to reflect the newly refreshed brand: an energetic, forward-thinking organization, with a history and mission largely focused on nature and conservation.

  • Prioritizing authenticity and “spirit of place”, I worked with stewardship staff to source wood from multiple Trustees properties—some harvested and some reclaimed from old structures—for a large accent wall.
  • I introduced large scale images of some of the most iconic Trustees properties.
  • Using modified property maps, I designed privacy film for the conference room.
  • I proposed bike racks for the elevator lobby, both for alignment with Trustees’ organizational values and staff/visitor needs. I sourced the materials, had the bike hangers custom powder-coated, and assisted with the installation.
  • I recreated a historic version of The Trustees logo, and used archival images, in order to honor and juxtapose the organization’s roots with its more contemporary brand image.
